The Name

Why Razorbill?

The name comes from a bird. I just think the razorbill has very cool aesthetics — similar to the Linux penguin, but with a sharper, more distinctive look — and it likes to dive deep like me.

Timeline

The growth of Razorbill.

2003

Hello, world

Born.

2014

The first edit

Began editing system files in games — just for fun, and my first look under the hood.

2017

Learning Python

Decided to learn Python, so there was more I could do. The same year, the Transformer model was released — the architecture later behind ChatGPT. AI’s potential caught my attention.

2018

Expanding the stack

Learned HTML, CSS, PHP and SQL as extensions for my personal Python projects.

2019

Fluent in Python

My library knowledge and experience grew to the point where I could build almost any software.

2020

Security & AI

Moved to Linux with Ubuntu as my main OS, and explored Kali Linux and Tails OS in depth while studying exploits — all to build software that’s impenetrable.

2021

Going professional

Started taking real-world projects online as a side job. Clients called the service and the code “spectacular.”

Today

Razorbill

A full-stack engineer working across software, security, systems and AI.
